Bond of Ribbed Steel Bar in High-Performance Steel Fiber Reinforced Expanded-Shale Lightweight Concrete

For the structural application of high-performance Steel Fiber Reinforced Expanded-shale Lightweight Concrete (SFRELC), a reliable bond ribbed steel bar should be ensured. In this paper, an experimental study was carried out on properties embedded in SFRELC by direct pull-out test. The produced with strength grade 35 MPa and volume fraction fiber as 0%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6% 2.0%, respectively. Fifteen groups specimens were made central placed diameter 14 mm, 20 mm 28 Complete stress-slip curves determined for each group specimens, characteristic values bond-stress slip at key points ascertained. Results show that strength, peak-slip residual increased increase fiber. With diameter, decreased while increased, descending became sharp strength. Formulas calculating proposed. relationships splitting peak-slip. Combined rational fitting analyses slip, constitutive model selected predicting SFRELC.
